
Holidays in Bhutan. Landscape of Bhutan is predominantly mountainous. The whole northern part - is a vast alpine region with ridges of the Great Himalayan Range, where rivers of Jamuna basin are begun. Bhutan's highest point is Kula Kangri Mount (7553 m). Highlands are sparsely populated, there are alpine meadows and scrubs. Central areas are located in crossed plains and of middle-mountains zone. There are arrays of evergreen and deciduous forests and fertile valleys here. Southern foothill areas lie in the area of low mountains and elevated plains. According to Bhutanese law, 60% of the territory should not ever be cut down.
