Here, is nature of a unique beauty, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park and lots of opportunities for active recreation. Climbers love to conquer Ben Nevis - the highest peak of Britain, Trossachs, located in the center of Rob Roy area is popular among hikers. Cyclists like the Highlands and the Hebrides islands of north-west, as well as coastal routes and valleys of southern and central regions. The largest ski center is located in Aviemore, a little smaller in the Nevis Range, Glencoe, Glenshee, Nevis and Lehto. Golf is played everywhere, and the best place for surfing is around Thurso. Lake Spay and surrounding lakes provide good opportunities for fishing. And, of course, each tourist in Scotland feels obliged to visit Loch Ness, hoping to see Nessy.
