The revolution goes on and next winter the complete range of BBR skis for every ski level and terrain will be at your disposal. To give every skier the possibility to try out the new range ten top ski destinations all over Switzerland and among those Saas-Fee have been chosen to continue the BBR tour this winter 2012/13.
12-19 January 2013 Ice Climbing World Cup, Saas-Fee
Also in 2013, the Ice Climbing World Cup will take place in the glacier village. The 30 meter high ice wall is located in the parking garage. In a unique atmosphere, guests will experience the world\'s best ice climbers. In addition, there will be exciting week-long competitions under the title Ice On Tour (incl. the Ice Climbing World Cup, Ice Climbing Youth Championship, nighttime ski touring race).
02 March 2013 Horn sledge race, Saas-Grund
On 2 March 2013 the 7th Horn sledge race takes place on the village lift \"Ziebel\" in Saas-Grund. In this special fun race does only one category exist: the fun-category. Everybody who wants to spend some funny hours is welcome to join the race.
02 March 2012 10th Glacier Bike Downhill, Saas-Fee
On the 02 March 2013 the spectacular Glacier Bike Downhill race will be held again in Saas-Fee. At the Glacier Bike Downhill the adrenalin in the glacier village Saas-Fee purely flows. The Downhill Mountainbiker go not like used on land or tar routes, but on ice and snow. On this unusual material, the riders have to master 1800m elevator. After the mass start on 3500m it approaches to the valley in a high speed.
10 March 2013 Weissmies Snowtrail, Saas-Grund
The special snow shoe race is again taking place in 2013. The trail goes from Saas-Grund up to Kreuzboden.
31 March 2013 Vintage Ski Race, Kreuzboden
Participants will need all their skill, style and speed to succeed in the races, which will be held in two categories. Those competing in the vintage category will don wooden skis and wear suitably old-fashioned outfits to show off their skiing prowess, while those in the retro category will take us back to the 1970s and 80s with their winter-sports styles.
March/April 2013 Race of the valley
In March/April 2013 the traditional “race of the valley” of all five communities will take place in Saas-Almagell. The five ski clubs of Saas-Almagell, Saas-Balen, Saas-Fee, Saas-Grund and Eisten compete in different disciplines such as Ski, Snowboard and Telemark.
March/April 2013 Style Session, Saas-Fee
Again the Style Session takes place in Saas-Fee. Snowboarders and free skiers will compete in the halfpipe and slope style.
12-13 April 2013 31st Allalin Races, Saas-Fee
Ski & Snowboard: The Mittelallalin open downhill races are the highest races on a glacier in the world. Participants from all over Europe compete in various disciplines. On the 12 & 13 April 2013 the races take place again in the glacier village.
