Tropical Cornucopia Sustainable Tours and Events
On November 2nd and 3rd 2013, from 10am-5pm, in Homestead’s CRA Downtown Historic District, South Dade Busway, and Miami Dade College Homestead Campus, 500 College Terrace • Homestead, FL 33030, Redland Tropical Gardens, (RTG) Tropical Cornucopia Sustainable Tours and Events, a nonprofit community-based destination management company, will welcome an anticipated 25,000-50,000 local, national, and international visitors to its first annual Tropical CornucopiaTM Farm and Garden Show, a two-day, free (donations suggested$10.00 adults $5.00 seniors and children), smart growth, family- friendly, world-class signature sustainable event. Tropical CornucopiaTM Farm and Garden Show will showcase the historic natural landscapes, as well as the agricultural and diverse cultural bounty of Greater Homestead/Florida City, Gateway Communities of the Everglades and Biscayne National Parks, and the Redland Historic Agricultural District, and market these South Dade areas as newly branded destinations for sustainable and cultural heritage tourism.
