Hissar is an excellent balneological resort. The unique mineral water cures kidney, liver, stomach, and the system of internal secretion
The Hissar resort is located in about 40 km to the north of Plovdiv, near Mount Sredna. Since the most ancient times the place was known for curative mineral springs. The town was founded in the V th millennium BC. In 1 st century BC Ancient Rome has conquered Thrace, including the city of Hisar. It has become even more famous due its springs. Today this beautiful spa resort is increasingly popular among visitors and patients from around the world.
