News • Lower Manhattan • New York City • United States • 2013-03-28
As part of the Downtown Alliance’s initiative to advance Lower Manhattan as a place for tech firms to set up shop, the Downtown Alliance was a sponsor for the day-long Made in NY: Austin event, held during South by Southwest. Centered around film, music, and technology, South by Southwest (SXSW) is an annual 10-day festival that takes place in Austin. Thousands of New Yorkers and out-of-towners alike attended the Made in NY event to visit and meet with vendors, and participate in educational events. As a sponsor and on-site vendor, the Downtown Alliance presented along with many other NY-based firms.
Check out our video from the event at www.downtownny.com/sxsw and some photos from our instagram feed at instagram.com/downtownnyc. To learn more about the Made in NY Austin event, go to www.madeinnyaustin.com.
