Select the country and object's type Little Rock Invites You to Savor the City in August

An impressive array of different restaurants, styles of food and cooking, are being featured during the month of August in Little Rock. It’s Savor the City once again as Little Rock hosts Restaurant Month.

The best of the Capital City is showcased from August 1-31 through lunch and dinner menus. A variety of discounts and specials are being offered by participating restaurants. Area residents and visitors can visit www.DineLR.com for details on which eateries are taking part and pricing.

The 2011 fall promotion was such so successful, the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau, decided to hold the 2012 edition to coincide with the end or summer and the beginning of the school year. Created by the LRCVB, Little Rock Restaurant Month is a celebration of Capital City’s diverse restaurant community, providing a great value for consumers, especially with back-to-school season in full swing.

“The fall promotion gives residents and visitors another opportunity to experience the variety of cuisine offered by some of the area’s best chefs and restaurants,” LRCVB President and CEO Gretchen Hall said. “For those families in the rush of back to school, having dining options at friendly prices during the month of August can provide a welcome break from hectic schedules. With so many establishments participating, there is truly something for everyone.”
