UKKOHALLA ARRANGES 13TH SWAMP SOCCER WORLDCHAMPIONSHIPS

Swamp Soccer World Championships 2012 tournament starts at

Vuorisuo*(Swamp) at Friday 13.7.2012 at 9.30. The games will be

played during two days 13.-14.7.2012 and there will be over 1000

games. The tournament will take a place on 22 football fields. There

are six different series: hobby-,mixed-, competitive-, womens\'

competitive- and business.

There are 300 teams and 5000 playes from Sweden, Germany, Russia and

Spain. South America is represented by mixed team with players from

Peru, Colombia and Uruguay. There has been qualified games in Germany

and Sweden and these countries are represented by theirs\' official

teams. International interest in Swamp Soccer expands.

The tournament is expected to be tight between different

nationalities. Spain fights for the gold medal in Swamp Soccer in

addition to EC-title in football.

SWAMP ROCK festival will be hold at Ukkohalla Holiday Resort from

Friday to Saturday. At the Saturday there is final party and Dingo on

the Swamp-stage.

Ukkohalla is located 17 km from Hyrynsalmi. There are signs to

Ukkohalla from road E5.

*Vuorisuo is located appr.70 kilometres from Kajaani to the north by

road E5. There is a sign Swamp Soccer. From this sign 6 kilometres to

the Swamp area.

From Hyrynsalmi 7 kilometres road E5 towards Kajaani and then to

the left. There is a sign.
