Preys and predators
The indissoluble relation between the prey and the predator, the relation that guarantees the right balance in the ecosystems. The exhibition at Pordenone’s Municipal Natural History Museum proposes photographs of the protagonists of the exhibition depicted in their natural environment, which show the strategies adopted by predators to catch their preys and the countermeasures taken by the latter to defend themselves. An exhibition on the charming relations among animals with new finds and with particular attention on the issue of biodiversity, to reveal to all enthusiasts – and to children in particular – the most intriguing dynamics of the animal kingdom.
At the exhibition \"Revelations. Four centuries of masterpieces\" you can admire a selection of works property of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Gorizia together with those coming from Trieste’s National Gallery of Ancient Art. Very interesting is the connection between the two collections, from the point of view of a reciprocal virtuous cross-reference between public and private: the Mentasti collection of Italian and European art, which comprises works between the sixteenth century and the eighteenth century, in fact, is of private origin but was acquired by the State, the collection of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Gorizia, of the same period, is of private formation (recently increased by a large number of works).
